Progress Update on Our Beautiful New Home Near Alyth

We’re so excited to share the latest progress on Osprey Court, our brand-new care home nestled in the heart of Pitcrocknie Village, Perthshire. Following a recent site visit, it’s clear to see how beautifully everything is coming together, and we’re thrilled about what this special home will offer when it opens its doors to residents in Late Spring 2025.

Osprey Court is being built with one key focus – creating a warm, welcoming space where residents can feel completely at home. Every detail has been designed with care and thoughtfulness, from the spacious, comfortable bedrooms to the bright and airy communal areas where residents can relax, socialise, and take part in activities.

We’re especially proud of the home’s layout, which has been created to promote a true sense of community. The home will be divided into six smaller “neighbourhoods,” each accommodating 10 residents. These smaller communities will ensure Osprey Court feels homely and familiar, making it easy for residents to form friendships and settle in. Alongside this, the landscaped gardens and patio areas will provide tranquil spaces to enjoy Perthshire’s fresh air and breathtaking views.

Osprey Court is about so much more than providing care – it’s about offering a lifestyle filled with opportunities to connect, enjoy, and thrive. We’ll have a rich variety of activities for residents to explore, from creative workshops to fitness classes, and plenty of chances to try something new. Whatever someone’s interests or abilities, there will always be something enjoyable to get involved in.

And it doesn’t stop there. Osprey Court is set within Pitcrocknie Village, a truly lovely place with so much to offer. Imagine a peaceful countryside retreat surrounded by woodlands, ponds, and walking paths where residents can enjoy a stroll and spot the local wildlife. The village even has its own 9-hole golf course and access to the Den o’ Alyth, a wooded glen through which the Alyth Burn runs.

For those who like to stay active, the nearby town of Blairgowrie is just a 10-minute drive away, and the village of Alyth is just a short distance from Osprey Court, so we plan to offer regular trips for residents to enjoy a turn around the lovely local shops and cafes.

As construction progresses, we’re getting closer to opening the doors to Osprey Court this spring. It’s so exciting to see this vision come to life – a home where residents will not only receive exceptional care but will also enjoy a fulfilling and happy life in stunning surroundings.
