Celebrating the Opening of Our Care Home

To mark the opening of Osprey Court Care Home in Pitcrocknie Village, we held a celebration for residents, staff and guests. The special afternoon included Christmas music, a delicious party buffet and time to socialise.

This enjoyable event was a relaxing way for residents to get to know one another and chat about their pasts while looking forward to the future in their new and inviting home. As friendships began to form, we celebrated the beginning of this new chapter for Osprey Court.

Osprey Courst welcomes residents from all walks of life with varying care needs, so creating a strong sense of community in our care home is a priority. The atmosphere at our opening party was warm and comforting, as residents, guests and staff got to know each other. Laughter and chatter could be heard across the room as stories and smiles were shared.

Connecting socially with other residents is hugely important, especially when navigating a change such as moving into a new care home. Some of the many benefits include reducing stress and loneliness and improving quality of sleep and overall wellbeing. Our dedicated Activities Coordinator is looking forward to organising more socially and mentally stimulating activities for all residents to enjoy.
